MANIC STREET PREACHERS : new video

MANIC STREET PREACHERS HAVE ANNOUNCED THAT THE TITLE TRACK OF RECENT ALBUM FUTUROLOGY WILL BE ISSUED AS ITS SECOND SINGLE, IN SEPTEMBER. A VIDEO HAS BEEN RELEASED IN ADVANCE.

Directed by BAFTA winner Kieran Evans (also responsible for the WALK ME TO THE BRIDGE promo), the new video is described as “a frenetic, kinetic stream of urban consciousness” which complements FUTUROLOGY’s anthemic rush. The single will be available from 14th September, and will include new b-sides.
The band’s Krautrock-‘n’-80s album, recorded at Hansa Tonstudio in Berlin and released in July, was their second in under a year (after 2013’s downbeat REWIND THE FILM) and their twelfth in all.
This year also marks the twentieth anniversary of THE HOLY BIBLE – Manic Street Preachers’ final album with Richey Edwards – and the band are planning “very special ways” to celebrate…
