It broke them as one of the most important bands to emerge from Manchester in recent years; a fact recognised by the mighty James, who hand-picked them to be support on their recent GIRL AT THE END OF THE WORLD major UK tour. In this new edition of The Mouthcast singer Aaron Starkie, guitarist brother Kurtis and bass player James Ryan speak via telephone from their Manchester rehearsal rooms. They look back across a year of ‘stepping up a rung’ since we last podcasted with them – including their experiences of playing vast venues to large crowds on the James tour.
