LYKKE LI HAS RELEASED A TEASER VIDEO FOR I NEVER LEARN – HER FORTHCOMING THIRD ALBUM, DUE IN MAY.

The Swedish singer-songwriter’s new release follows-up UK Top 40 album WOUNDED RHYMES (2011) and last year’s collaborative single I’M WAITING HERE, with director David Lynch. Lykke Li also has the lead role in Tarik Selah’s crime thriller TOMMY, released 14th March. Selah directed the videos for her singles SADNESS IS A BLESSING and I FOLLOW RIVERS.
Further details for I NEVER LEARN are sketchy, though Li has revealed it’s about a break-up. “It’s always about me, and the guilt and the shame and the hurt and the pride and the confusion of being a woman”. The video’s drop-out and dramatic string swell (at 1:12) suggests it will be an emotional account.
