SONGWRITER CRAIG WALKER IS ONE QUARTER OF FRENCH/IRISH ELECTRO-POP QUARTET MINERAL – SIGNED BY ALAN McGEE TO HIS NEW LABEL 359 MUSIC, AND ON THE VERGE OF RELEASING DEBUT ALBUM PLASTIC EKPHRASTIC.
Last week The Mouth Magazine posted an interview focusing on Mineral (here) – but, in this nostalgic two-part edition of The Mouthcast, Walker reflects on his time fronting much-loved Dublin-based indie band Power Of Dreams during the early 1990s.
In Part Two he discusses his creative process, and how it has been opened out through working with collaborators in a variety of musical projects since Power Of Dreams. He also talks about the influence of geography on his songwriting, describing time spent in London, Iceland and France. Listen to Part One here, and Part Two below.
