In the first of two editions of The Mouthcast to be recorded during his current solo tour, Power looks back across his career and describes his disappointment that the first (and, to date, only) album by The La’s failed to capture the true “oscillation” of the band – and that its status as a classic may have contributed to the split with songwriter Lee Mavers. He also reveals that the 1990s successes – with hit singles such as GUIDING STAR, WALKAWAY and ALRIGHT – which followed for Cast were experiences that he couldn’t fully enjoy…
